How to use はなしあう

One sentence for each tense, the way people say it.

  1. Present and future

    かぞく で よく しょうらい の こと を はなしあいます。

    As a family we often talk over the future.

  2. Past

    ふたり で ひっこし に ついて はなしあった。

    The two of us talked over the move.

  3. Te-form

    けんか しないで、 ちゃんと はなしあって ください。

    Don't fight; please talk it over properly.

  4. Potential

    おちついて はなしあえる ばしょ は ありません か。

    Isn't there a place where we can talk calmly?

  5. Want to

    こども の がっこう の こと で はなしあいたい。

    I want to talk over our child's schooling.

  6. Volitional

    もんだい が ある なら、 いっしょ に はなしあおう。
