    Mrs. Sato often praises her grandchildren.

  2. Past

    きのう、 ぶちょう が わたし の しごと を ほめた。

    Yesterday the department head praised my work.

  3. Te-form

    さとう さん は いつも ベン を ほめて います。

    Mrs. Sato is always praising Ben.

  4. Potential

    ひと を すなお に ほめられる ひと に なりたい。

    I want to be someone who can praise people sincerely.

  5. Want to

    そうた の どりょく を ほめたい。

    I want to praise Sota's efforts.

  6. Volitional

    むすこ が がんばった から、 たくさん ほめよう。
