Chloe at the table with the book of the theory test, Hugo at the stove, and a stop sign at two in the morning with nobody around. Thursday, two o'clock, a test centre on the plateau, a desk, a screen, forty questions. Five o'clock, the flat, an email, and two phone calls, to the club's office and across the old landing. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
