PART 2 · LESSON 15 OF 30 · 31 MINUTES
Only One Is Right
Thursday the thirtieth of March 2028, the fifteenth lesson of this level. The night before, Chloe at the kitchen table with the trick questions of the theory test, Hugo at the stove, and a stop sign at two in the morning with nobody around. Two o'clock, a test centre on the plateau, forty questions, five mistakes allowed. Five o'clock, the email, three mistakes, Hugo on the phone, who never doubted it, and Monsieur Petit, who got his licence in 1966, on the third go. Say only one of them is right, with the little word for of them in the middle, and I got it, for a test you have passed.
