PART 3 · LESSON 22 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
Dinner with Hugo
A week after the move, Hugo calls Emma and invites her to dinner, and it might be a date. On Saturday evening, by the Saone, there are candles, oysters, questions about brothers and sisters, a bill Hugo insists on paying, and a walk home under the stars. Ask if someone is free, invite them to dinner, ask "is it a date?", pay a compliment, order a starter and a main course, say "I feel good with you", insist on paying, and offer to walk someone home.

THE STORY
It's Thursday, January 7, a week after the move. Emma has just come home from her evening class when her new phone rings. It's Hugo, and he sounds a little nervous. On Saturday evening, he takes her to a little restaurant by the Saone, with candles on the tables. Emma is wearing her blue dress, the one from the wedding. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
