PART 1 · LESSON 7 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
A Parcel for Chicago
On Tuesday at lunchtime, Emma takes a birthday parcel for her mother to the post office. Find the end of the queue, send a parcel abroad, say what's inside and that it's fragile, choose between standard and express, the cheapest and the quickest, fill in a form, buy stamps, and say what will happen with the future.

THE STORY
It is Tuesday October 6, 2026. Emma's mother's birthday is on Saturday, in Chicago. At lunchtime, Emma runs to the post office with a box under her arm. There's a queue, of course, and only one counter. Her new bank card still hasn't arrived, so she pays in cash. Back at the school, she tells Karim all about it.
