Lost in Brittany
The GPS stops working in the middle of the countryside, Emma panics about the petrol for nothing, and she asks a woman in a village for directions. Say you're lost and there's no signal, ask the way, understand directions with straight on, the second on the right and after the church, say how far it is, and buy a road map at a petrol station.

THE STORY
It's Saturday, October 24, in the afternoon. After an hour on the motorway from Rennes, Emma and Chloe are on little country roads between fields and stone houses. Chloe's grandmother lives in a village by the sea called Saint-Briac. Then the GPS goes quiet, and there's no signal. In front of a bakery, a woman is getting out of her car with two baguettes, and later, at a petrol station, a man at the till has the last answers. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
