PART 1 · LESSON 8 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
I'm Lost
After lunch, Chloe goes her own way, and Emma walks alone in the old streets of the Marais until she has no idea where the metro is. She stops a woman in big sunglasses, gets the directions half right, and ends up on a bridge, where the woman finds her again. Stop someone politely, say you're lost, ask where something is, and follow directions left, right and straight ahead.

THE STORY
After lunch, Chloe goes her own way, and Emma walks alone in the old streets of the Marais. They are narrow, they all look the same, and after an hour she has no idea where the metro is. She stops a woman with a shopping bag and big sunglasses, and gets the directions half right. Twenty minutes later she is on a bridge, and someone she knows is crossing it. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
