PART 3 · LESSON 27 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
A Place for the School
Emma visits an old shop to rent for her school, with Hugo and an estate agent. Talk about premises, square metres and rooms, say a place is bright, ask about the rent and the deposit, say prices in the thousands, ask about work to be done and when a place is free, say "I have to talk to my bank about it" and "I'll think about it", and ask a friend what they think of it.

THE STORY
It's Saturday the tenth of April. For three weeks, Emma has visited places for her school after work. One was too small, one was too far, one had no windows at all. Today, Hugo has come with her, and the estate agent shows them an old shop in a little street of the Croix-Rousse, with a big window onto the street. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
