THE STORY

Emma loved cycling for exactly three days. On the fourth, Wednesday the first of October, a car door opens right in front of her, and she ends up on the ground, almost at the school. Ten minutes later she limps into the staff room, and Karim takes one look at her knee. The next morning she is at a doctor's, in a quiet street near the school. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
