THE STORY
In France, when you move into a new home, you throw a party called the crémaillère, named after the hook that once held the cooking pot over the fire. On Saturday evening Emma's studio is small, but Chloe and Leo squeeze in with a present and a cake, and halfway through the evening there's a knock at the door. The next morning, Hugo phones from Marseille to hear how it went. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
