Oysters at the Market
On Friday morning, market day in Saint-Briac, Mamie Jeanne takes Emma to buy oysters and prawns, and at lunch Emma tastes her first oyster. Ask what someone needs and how many they would like, ask if something is fresh, buy by the dozen and by the kilo, say "too much" and "enough", ask someone to open the oysters for you, and say what something tastes of.

THE STORY
It's Friday morning, market day in Saint-Briac. Mamie Jeanne walks from stall to stall with her basket on her arm, and everyone says hello to her. At the fish stall, the oysters were in the sea a few hours ago. Mamie Jeanne has decided that today, at lunch, Emma will eat her first oyster. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
