🇫🇷 French · Intermediate Level 2

PART 1 · LESSON 3 OF 30 · 31 MINUTES

Not That One

Saturday the eighth of January 2028, the third lesson of this level. At nine, Emma breaks her news to Karim and Camille at the school, and Karim's first question gives him away. At two, the agency at the top of the hill, and the agent who found the shop recognises her. Two visits, a dark flat over a courtyard where you turn the light on in broad daylight, and a fifth floor with the whole Saone in the window and ninety-eight steps, which Hugo turns down. The agent has a third, on the slopes, with a lift, free in February. Say does she know and that one, we're not taking it, with the little word for it before the verb, and I'll show you another one, with you and of them together.

THE STORY

Saturday the eighth of January 2028. Nine in the morning, the little English school in the Croix-Rousse, before the Saturday classes, where Karim and Camille hear the news. Two in the afternoon, the estate agency at the top of the hill, where a woman behind the desk looks up and knows Emma. Then two flats, a dark one over a courtyard and a bright one on a fifth floor without a lift, and a third the agent can't show yet. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
