🇫🇷 French · Intermediate Level 1

PART 1 · LESSON 7 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES

Where It All Began

Emma says goodbye to Hugo at the station in Lyon, and takes her parents to Paris on the fast train, to the little hotel by the canal where her story in France began. Julien and Madame Morel remember her, and so does a certain key. Ask people if they remember you, answer "of course I remember you", and tell your own story with the two pasts.

THE STORY

It's Monday the ninth of August. At the station in Lyon, Hugo says goodbye to Emma's parents before his class on the river. At noon, in Paris, Emma rings the bell of the Hotel du Canal, where she spent her first night in France, two years ago. Will Julien remember her? Will Madame Morel? This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
