PART 2 · LESSON 14 OF 30 · 39 MINUTES
I Understand You're Worried
A week after classes start, one mother stays behind after the children's class. She thinks the children play too much, and she wants exercises and marks. Emma stays calm, and stands up for learning out loud. Accept how someone feels with the special form of the verb, make a polite suggestion, and stand your ground.

THE STORY
It's Wednesday the twenty-second of September. Classes started a week ago, and in Camille's room the children sing in English all afternoon. At four o'clock, when the others have gone, one mother is still waiting by the door. She isn't happy, and Emma is about to hear her first complaint. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
