PART 1 · LESSON 4 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
I Want You to See It
Emma shows her parents her school, closed for the summer. Then they climb the steep streets of the Croix-Rousse to lunch at Hugo's flat, five floors up with no lift, and her father runs out of breath. Say what you want someone to see and what someone has to do, with two verbs that take the special form, and say "it's steep", "we're almost there" and "there's no lift".

THE STORY
It's Tuesday the third of August. At ten in the morning, not too early, Emma takes her parents to see her school, behind its dark green door in the Croix-Rousse. At noon, Hugo has invited them to lunch at his flat, higher up the hill. The streets climb and climb, and then there are five floors with no lift. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
