I see Grandma every Friday in the village.
Past

شُفْت النِّيل مِن البَلَكُونَة الصُّبْح.

I saw the Nile from the balcony this morning.
Future

هَنْشُوف الشَّقَّة بُكْرَة, إِنْ شَاء الله.

We'll see the flat tomorrow, God willing.
After want, must and can

عَايِز أَشُوف الأَهْرَامَات قَبْل الصِّيف.

I want to see the pyramids before summer.
Commands

Good to know

شَايِف (شَايْفَة) is "I see" or "I can see" right now: شَايِف البَاب الكِبِير? Do you see the big door?
نِشُوف, "we'll see", and هَنْشُوف are how Egyptians leave a question open.
