  6. Subjonctif présent

    Prefiero que no me nombres en el artículo.

    I'd rather you didn't mention me in the article.

  7. Subjonctif passé

    Le pedí que no nombrara a mi familia en la entrevista.

    I asked him not to mention my family in the interview.

Bon à savoir

  • "Nombrar" is also to appoint: "la nombraron directora". To call someone by a name is "llamar", not "nombrar".
