  4. Future

    เดี๋ยว ก็ จะ หลับ เอง ครับ.

    She'll fall asleep by herself in a bit.

  5. Ever and never

    เคย หลับ ใน รถเมล์ ไหม คะ?

    Have you ever fallen asleep on the bus?

  6. Want, must and can

    เหนื่อย มาก, อยาก หลับ สัก ชั่วโมง ครับ.

    I'm so tired, I want to sleep for an hour.

Good to know

  • นอน is to lie down or go to bed; หลับ is to be actually asleep, so นอน ไม่ หลับ is to lie there and not sleep.
