The morning after Ben's birthday, Riku asks what comes next. Ben looks back over his month in Japan and admits he does not want to leave. That evening Yui calls from Kyoto. Talk about past and future time, say how long ago something happened, and ask for time to think.

THE STORY

It is Sunday, the morning after the birthday fireworks. Yui has gone back to Kyoto for work. On the quiet beach, Ben and Riku prepare their boards and talk about Ben's journey and his flight home next Wednesday. That evening Yui calls, and asks when they will see each other again. This is the conversation you will be able to say by the end of the lesson.
