The Convenience Store

Ben buys a rice ball and a bottle of water at the convenience store on the corner, meets the woman from the street in the queue, and needs Yui's help to open his rice ball. Count from one to ten, ask what something is and how much it costs, say prices in yen, and say no thanks to a bag.

Ben wants something to eat on his walk, so he goes to the convenience store on the corner, open day and night. He finds a shelf of rice balls, but he can't read the labels, and he has to pay for the first time, in yen. Back at the inn, Yui shows him the trick to opening a rice ball. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
