The Plan

A week before the proposed breakfast, Ben, Kenta and Mrs. Sato settle the room, invitation, flowers and signal. Recall their first meeting, discuss a date and time, rehearse the words and make preparations. Yui accepts breakfast, without being told the surprise.

A HISTÓRIA

Saturday March twentieth, one week before Ben's planned proposal. After morning help at the Hanaya, Ben tells Mrs. Sato what the sealed box is for. She agrees to a private breakfast-room plan. Yui's free morning is known with her consent, and she accepts the breakfast invitation. On Friday Ben buys and brings three red roses; the ring stays in the safe until Saturday.
