The First Night
It's Thursday night, the seventeenth of July, and Ben's first night in his own flat. It's nearly empty and very quiet, so he calls Yui in Kyoto on video, and then Mrs. Sato rings from the inn. Say what you can see, say there's nothing and nobody, say what you're doing right now and while doing something else, and invite someone to come and visit.
