Head Teacher

The week after Golden Week, Mr. Kimura calls Ben into the office at Sakura English and asks him to become head teacher. Learn the passive, for things done to you (erabareta, tanomareta, homerareta, shikarareta). Say you were chosen, asked, praised or told off, talk about a promotion, a pay rise and responsibility, and say you can't say no (kotowarenai).

THE STORY

Tuesday, the week after Golden Week. Sakura English has grown, and Mr. Kimura needs a head teacher, someone to train the new teachers and talk to the parents. The staff were asked to choose. After the afternoon classes, Mr. Kimura asks Ben for a moment, takes him into the office and closes the door. Ben is sure he has done something wrong. Mike is waiting outside, dying to know. That evening, Ben tells Yui, and on Sunday, at the Hanaya, Kenta has already heard. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
