🇯🇵 Japanese · Beginner Level 2

PART 2 · LESSON 13 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES

Every Day

Two weeks into the job, in the heat of mid-August, Ms. Aoki asks Ben about his day, from getting up to going to bed. Talk about your routine, say what you do every morning and every evening, say around what time, and say always, often, sometimes and not much. Then Ben asks about her day, and Yui calls from Kyoto.

THE STORY

Thursday, the fourteenth of August, the week of the Obon holiday. Tokyo is hot and half empty, but Sakura English is open, and Ben has been there for two weeks. Ms. Aoki comes over from the next desk with two cold coffees and asks how he's getting on. He has a routine now, of a sort. Then he asks about hers, and that night Yui calls from Kyoto. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
