PART 2 · LESSON 17 OF 30 · 33 MINUTES
Old Hu
It's Friday afternoon, and Missus Wang sends Owen down to the village shop for soy sauce and salt. Next door, under a big red sign, a cheerful man waves him into a teahouse for tourists, and Owen knows the tea at the first sip. Ask someone to buy you something, invite someone in for tea and tell them to sit, say you've had something before and where it isn't from, ask someone to keep their voice down, make an offer and ask how about it, say no, say whose apprentice you are, and say I know.
