The Moving-In Notice

Thursday, the fifth of October, twenty twenty-eight, one o'clock, the ward office in the north of Kyoto, a hall of windows and numbers. Mister Okada gave Ben the afternoon yesterday, in Osaka's words. Yui has the moving-out certificate she fetched in Tokyo last week, Ben has his residence card and his katakana stamp, and the clerk, about Yui's age, speaks the polite language of forms.
