THE STORY
Saturday, May the second, the first day of the long holiday. Ben and Yui took the early train from Asakusa to Nikko, in the mountains north of Tokyo. They see the golden shrine of Toshogu, crowded with holiday visitors, and its famous carving of three monkeys. Then a bus takes them up a winding mountain road to a huge waterfall, where the sky is getting dark, and the real monkeys are very interested in Ben's rice balls. Before the train home, there are souvenirs to buy, for Mrs. Sato and for Mike. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
