THE STORY

Quarta, dia 178, às quatro e cinco, na sala pequena da biblioteca, enquanto Carmen lê para as crianças. Rachel bate na porta e diz que gostaria de responder a pergunta que pulou na semana passada. Fazia quase um ano que ela vinha pensando num hospital maior, mas o filho nunca tinha morado em outro lugar, e a mãe dela a ajudava com tudo. Ela ia dizer não ao emprego, e já tinha escrito o e-mail. A mãe disse que ela sempre podia voltar, e no fim ela decidiu aceitar.
