The Interview

Emma prepares on Chloe's sofa, meets the director of a language school and calls Hugo afterwards. Explain your experience, say how long you have been doing something and discuss a possible starting day. The interview ends with a promise to call, not an offer.

L’HISTOIRE

A week after her return to Lyon, Emma has a Monday interview at a small language school near the river. Adults come here in the evenings to learn English. Chloe found the interview, and Emma has practised on her sofa all weekend. Nathalie, the director, is friendly but direct. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
