Golden Week

Thursday, April the thirtieth. Golden Week is coming, a string of holidays at the start of May, and everyone at Ben's school has plans. Mike will stay at home, Ms. Aoki is going back to her parents', and Ben is going to Nikko with Yui, who comes up from Kyoto on Friday night. List the things you'll do, or did, with -tari -tari, say everywhere is crowded, the trains are full and the tickets sold out, say you're going back to your parents' home, and wish everyone a good holiday.

A HISTÓRIA

Thursday, April the thirtieth. In Japan, the end of April and the start of May bring a string of public holidays called Golden Week, and the whole country goes on the move at once. In the staff room, Mr. Kimura and Ms. Aoki ask everyone about their plans. Mike, who has never heard of Golden Week, will stay at home. Ms. Aoki is going back to her parents'. Ben booked early, and is going to Nikko with Yui. On Friday night, Yui comes up from Kyoto on a full bullet train. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
