That same Wednesday evening, Rosa's son Tomas stops by in his white minibus and offers to drive Sarah and Camila to Chichen Itza himself, so they cancel the tour. Offer to take someone somewhere, pick them up, help them or lend them something, ask if it's a bother, say it's on your way, and cancel a booking.

LA HISTORIA
It is still Wednesday November nineteenth. That evening, a white minibus parks in front of the guesthouse, and a young man with a cap gets out and kisses Rosa on the forehead. It's Tomas, her son. He drives tourists around the Yucatan, and knows every road, cenote and ruin. Sarah met him two weeks ago, but Camila hasn't met him yet. His mother has already told him about her two guests, and he has a better idea than the tour.
