The Pyramid
On Thursday, as promised, Tomas drives Sarah and Camila to Chichen Itza, where his friend, a Maya guide, shows them the great pyramid, the ball court and the way to the sacred cenote. LA HISTORIA
It's Thursday, November twenty-seventh. As promised, Tomas picks Sarah and Camila up at six, and two hours later they're among the first at the entrance of Chichen Itza, both in Rosa's hats. Tomas introduces his friend, a guide who grew up speaking Maya, and drives on to his aunt's restaurant. The guide stops in front of the great pyramid. At one o'clock, Tomas comes back for them.
