PARTE 1 · LECCIÓN 2 DE 30 · 40 MINUTOS Gratis
Had I Known
Sarah asks the director of the school of midwives what it would take to stay in Spain and work as a midwife - and the answer involves a ministry, months of waiting and a national exam. Then, at Manolo's bar, Julian has news about the book. Say had I known, if you'd applied earlier you'd have it now, that's what she would have said, and better today than tomorrow.

LA HISTORIA
It's Thursday, January 11th, 2029, nine in the morning, in the director's office at the school of midwives. Sarah's exchange ends in six weeks. On the desk there's a folder with her name on it, and a printout from a ministry website, with a lot of things underlined in red. The director takes off her glasses, which is never a good sign. At two, Sarah meets Julian at Manolo's bar, and Julian has news of his own. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
