وِالجَار خَد الاِتْنِين, وِسِكِت.wig-GAAR khad il-it-NEEN, wi-SI-kit.And the neighbour took both, and said nothing.
يَا سَلاَم! وِبَعْدِين?ya sa-LAAM! wi-ba3-DEEN?Goodness! And then?
اِسْتَلَفْهَا تَانِي, وِمَا رَجَّعْهَاش.is-ta-LAF-ha TAA-ni, wi-ma rag-ga3-HAASH.He borrowed it again, and didn't return it.
أَقُولَّك, الحَلَّة مَاتِت!a-'UL-lak, il-7AL-la MAA-tit!Let me tell you, the pot died!
