She Offered Me the Department

Saturday the seventh of June, twenty thirty-one, eight in the morning, the kitchen in Botafogo, both parents home and the fridge calendar a year long. On Friday at four, Regina, her director in Sao Paulo, offered Alice's mother the head of her department, two weeks a month in Sao Paulo from January, and she kept the news for the breakfast table.
