On Monday afternoon Ben leaves his black bag on a train from Ueno. He describes its contents and the journey, then collects it at the next station. The following day he tells his colleague what happened. Report something left behind, ask for details and understand that it has been found.

Monday October thirteenth, after the storm and the morning's checked transport updates. Around three in the afternoon Ben gets off a train from Ueno without his black bag. His wallet, laptop and Japanese book are inside it. His phone, residence card and travel card are in a separate pocket. He walks carefully to the office with his recovering ankle. The bag is found at the next station, collected that afternoon and discussed with Ms. Aoki on Tuesday the fourteenth.
