PARTIE 1 · LEÇON 2 SUR 30 · 40 MINUTES Gratuit

Sota's First Day

On the first Saturday of Golden Week, Sota starts his part-time job at the Hanaya, and Kenta makes him do everything. Learn the causative, the form for making or letting someone do something (arawaseru, yasumaseru, tabesaseru, saseru, ikaseru), and ask for a go with let me (yarasete). Talk about a part-time job, hourly pay and staff meals, and about what your parents made you do as a child.

L’HISTOIRE

Saturday May first, the start of Golden Week, and the Hanaya is full. Sota arrives at seven for his first day. Kenta, who laughs at everything all week, is a different person at work. Dishes, futons, the bath, the corridors. Sota is starting to wonder about this job when Mrs. Sato steps in, and reminds Kenta who made him wash the dishes when he was fifteen. Then Sota hears about the staff meals. In the evening, he phones his sister. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
