L’HISTOIRE
It's Saturday, five days after Ben's Monday at school. Yui's brother Sota is eighteen, in his last year of school in Kyoto, and next spring he takes the university entrance exams. He came up on the bullet train this morning for an open day at a university in Tokyo. Now it's evening, and he's back at Ben and Yui's flat, exhausted, starving and not saying much. His big sister wants every detail. At dinner comes the big question, Tokyo or Kyoto, and at bedtime the sofa, Maple the cat and a forgotten toothbrush. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
