What If We Asked Carla and Rafael?
Grandma Nena has booked the chapel, and the godparents have to be chosen. Bia wants Carla, Daniel wants Rafael, and Susan, from Chicago, wants Emily. Saturday the thirty-first of August, twenty thirty. Alice is almost nine months old, Bia is back from Sao Paulo, and on Monday Daniel flies to the Northeast again. At breakfast, news from the farm, Grandma Nena has spoken to the priest. At eleven, at Rafael's cafe on Sol Street, a question for Carla and Rafael.
