A HISTÓRIA
Friday, the twenty-fifth of August, twenty twenty-eight. Ben took the six o'clock bullet train from Tokyo, alone, in his suit, and was in Osaka an hour early. Ten to ten, the lobby of Tsubame Travel's head office, near Osaka station. A big man of about fifty comes out of the lift already talking, takes Ben up to the ninth floor, and Missus Hayashi is at the door of her office. On the table, a sheet of paper, face down. At noon there are octopus balls by a canal, and at three a phone call from a platform. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
