Sarah's parents have flown home, and Elena wants to hear everything over coffee and the cake Sarah's mother left behind. LA HISTORIA

It's Sunday afternoon, the second of August. This morning, Sarah took her parents to the little airport. Now she's back at the blue house, and it feels very quiet. Elena is in the kitchen, making coffee in the clay pot, and she has saved Sarah a piece of the cake her mother made there yesterday. Valeria and Diego are packing for the night bus, and tomorrow is the first day of Sarah's midwife course. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
