THE STORY

The Sharmas' sitting room in Lajpat Nagar, a Sunday morning in February, both families there for the naming: Noah says the polite you to Dadi ji, Papa ji and Mummy ji and the familiar you to Priya; the eldest whispers the name, as the family does it.
