THE STORY
Saturday the fifth of August, six in the morning, the last morning on the farm. The kitchen has a wood stove, a long table worn smooth by eighty years of hands, and a notebook with a cracked cover where Grandma Nena's mother wrote her recipes. Today, for the first time, Grandma Nena lets Daniel make her cheese bread. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
