THE STORY
Friday the twenty-third of February, two weeks after Carnival, at a registry office in Botafogo. The owner of the flat, a quiet retired engineer, is sitting at the end of the table in his reading glasses. The clerk puts down a document as thick as a book. That evening, Daniel and Bia open the door of the empty flat with their own key for the first time. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
