A Little Omelette
Sarah comes home to Seville and finds that Julian, alone for almost two weeks with Encarna downstairs, has learned to make a Spanish omelette - a very large one. The next morning Encarna tastes it, and Sarah gives her a present from Oaxaca. Make words little and big - a little omelette, a giant one, a great big present, a tiny bit - and cook the Spain way, with or without onion.

A HISTÓRIA
It's Thursday, February 17th, nine at night, in the flat in Triana. Sarah has just got back from Mexico, after two flights and a train. The flat smells of fried onions. Julian is standing in the kitchen in Encarna's apron, with a plate in one hand and a frying pan in the other. The next morning, Encarna comes up to taste the leftovers, and Sarah has a present for her. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
