A HISTÓRIA

It is Tuesday November eighteenth. Camila and Sarah take the bus to the beach of Progreso, about an hour from Merida. Camila, who is from the north, sits under a big umbrella. Sarah, who is from Boston, lies in the sun without sunscreen. By evening she is as red as a tomato, and the mosquitoes have found her too. At the pharmacy around the corner she asks for help, and back at the guesthouse Rosa has a plant for burns.
