On the long bus ride south, Valeria won't let Sarah sleep. They talk about work and home, a woman across the aisle joins in, and at half past four, in Oaxaca, Diego calls. The bus is out of Mexico City, and there are six hours of mountains ahead. Sarah wants to rest, but Valeria wants to talk. They have shared breakfasts and lunches, but they have never really talked. Then the woman across the aisle joins in. And at half past four, when the bus pulls into Oaxaca, Sarah's phone rings. She forgot to call Diego. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
