The Pyramid
On Thursday, as promised, Tomas drives Sarah and Camila to Chichen Itza, where his friend, a Maya guide, shows them the great pyramid, the ball court and the way to the sacred cenote. A HISTÓRIA
It's Thursday, November twenty-seventh. As promised, Tomas picks Sarah and Camila up at six, and two hours later they're among the first at the entrance of Chichen Itza, both in Rosa's hats. Tomas introduces his friend, a guide who grew up speaking Maya, and drives on to his aunt's restaurant. The guide stops in front of the great pyramid. At one o'clock, Tomas comes back for them. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
