What a Good Thing
Part Two begins. Seven months after choosing the day, Daniel and Bia arrive on the farm in Minas for their holidays, ten weeks before the wedding, and Bia's grandparents talk the way people talk in the countryside. Understand and use the little words of Minas, "uai", "trem" and "so", the little endings, and what grandparents say when you arrive.

L’HISTOIRE
Saturday, the eighth of July, the middle of the dry season. After eight hours on the road, the last two on red dirt, the car stops at the gate of the farm. Grandma Nena is already at the door. Behind her, Grandpa Zeca, a man of very few words, has put on his good hat. Twenty minutes later, over coffee in the kitchen, the grandparents want all the news. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
